i agree with the extra cost and tyres are another consideration if you want decent off road - i know you can get some but the range seems better in 16 inch.
I picked up some centreing rings in the USA.
Today I fitted the RRS rims. I'm not sure if I like them.

I think they look pretty good Ron. They're not too fancy like some of the later rims that are out now & don't look out of proportion either.

The tyres are a lot quieter than the Cooper ST I have on the 16" rims.

Nice wheels Ron. What sort of rubber are they running? Bit hard to tell from the pic how low profile they are.
Do you find that they wander more/less than your 16" rims?
I had an alignment done running the 16" rims and muddies, and then when I swapped over to my 18" rims and road tyres, it wanders around more.
