YEEEHAA! Time to run a bath for "the pretty pig"!

Don't know what that's off, but it looks like a fairly nice fit. Anyone know what that snorkel is from? Or who the driver/owner is/was? HooRoo, Dave & "the pretty pig"

It's a patrol GU snorkel from Safari. This guy is from yours, track him back

Looks fine but a bit low with the roof line IMHO.

I wanted to go this way as this guy is still on EAS but it appears that it was mandatory to cut the hood for the outlet of the snorkel. If you get a safari snorkel in hands it's pretty obvious: the outlet is very high.

No problem at cutting my rangies' hood but i don't want to ask my customers to cut the hood. I rather prefer to cut a side panel in case i need to sell the vehicle.

I'll take you inform about my commercial version.

If anyone is interested about the steering guard RR-EVOLUTION, i have to inform you that it's a LHD only ...but with 3 or 4 demands, i'll could work the RHD brackets

    Cheers

    Flo

    That bath can wait!

To be honest Flo, I would rather not cut bonnet either - I reckon that the "clam shell" design provides a nice air pocket to keep water out or at least below the lip if all is going well. Would prefer cutting guard...

I will definetly keep watching the P38 pages and threads to see what comes out of all this. There seems to be heaps of committment to "rangie swimming" in the short time I have been looking at AULRO!

It really sucks (no pun intended P38 drowners) not being able to swim with confidence, especially when travelling with snorkeled Cruisers and Patrols... its about the only thing we really have to "give up" to them as far as off road capability is concerned.

Am curious about bash plate... what would be the cost landed in Melbourne do you think?

Very tempting, but I don't think it would work on my car as it would act like a shovel. It needs something to fill the gap between the plate and the bull bar.

Here's my poor attempt at illustrating what it might look like on my car.

    Paul,

It's exactly what you are looking for. The front part is stuck near the radiator frame so don't act as a shovel.

Rather than continuing to hijack this thread I'll start a new one shortly.
