"now a '98 White P38 HSE .... 2x QT diff protectors, about to do front plate protection for steering/radiator. "

Hey Tasi, any chance you can get some photo's of the diff protectors and then the front plate when its done? Or perhaps get your "old mate" on here! I would really love to get a front plate for my P38, but can not find any readily avail.

the diff protector practically bolted straight onto the rear diff, we took an angle grinder to the plate where it bolts to the diff slimming it down so we didn't have to disassemble the diff ...it's solid but will weld /grind to fix it when i do the 'lockers' (ARB or Tru Trac etc).
the front diff is another matter it's still a work in progress , shall we say it's extensively modified with the 'red axe' plasma cutter. the main problem is getting between the diff housing and the torsion bar....the bloody thing is still just touching . will fix on Monday. the front plate is the old AMV one of my old '84 Rangy, plasma cut the brackets to fit/weld onto the subframe around the radiator, should be straight forward....that's the Red Bundy plan anyway.
would really like to have gotten a Southdown plate but Atlantic British had run out and said Southdown were a bit unreliable delivery wise and couldn't get any info re left hand drive to right hand drive so far as brackets cutouts etc..
photos will be no problem when it's done, also have a trick solution for easily extending the height sensor arms. will take pics of those also.

    ............tasi
