    Oil Separator

    G'day Guys,

How important is the Oil Separator in the Rocker cover Breather line?

Because i noticed it was blocked so i went to remove it to clean it and it snapped. i got it out but should i replace it or is it safe to just leave it out ive put a Clamp on the hose so it wont come off.

    Thanks Guys,

    Mike

    Exclamation Oil Seperator

    Hey,

I have a quick question. My oil sperator was blocked, where the breather hose joins the rocker cover.

So i removed it and it was snapped i unblocked it (it was full of dirt/carbon) and my question is, i havnt put it back in/replaced it. Is this going to be a problem?

Ive put a clamp on the hose so it wont come off.

    Thanks Guys,

    Mike

It might be a long term problem.
A new one is cheap, less than $10.

Threads merged. Don't post the same question in multiple areas.

Replace the separator. If it's not there, you may get a smoky exhaust (I know of this happening on a P38A).
