    Check 1, 2 , 1 ,2 check.

It's a commuter, goes on road, then bike path, then through a creek and along a couple of km's of dirt track, then road, then path, then train, then dependent on work location either dodging syringes in the gutter for a few km's or along a harbour foreshore scoping for boobies.

and it has xcountry muddies on it.

Love my Freeride and Down hill but unfortunatly I probibly put more k's in on the road comuting to work but it's on a MTB with slicks over gutters, down stairs, on the road, off the road anyway I can get there that's fun AND there is definatly NO Lycra !

    Cheers,

Can't do this poll either. Everyone forgets track! 90% road, 10% track. Am I the only track rider here?

MTB all the way ( just entered the Dirtworks 100k yesterady in fact ), you get to see bush, trees, nature, jumps, washouts, get some air, drift a few corners, get muddy & dirty...have a good laugh when you muck up one of the above and get stuck in a tree...ride in the bush at night etc...need i say more?

Road...you get to look at a white line.....and dodge cars....and wear lycra.
