just need to wire up fridge and lights, oh and some fuses and protection for the cabling and the water pump and the compressor and 2nd aux battery and anderson plug for solar panel and the list goes on......but its gonna be ready for our holiday thats for sure

Halfway through a 10 day trip and all is good.
Got all the wiring done, I ended up using 7 pin trailer plugs between the roof top tent and the tub, will change this as I don't reckon the roof top tent will be coming off so I will be drilling a hole through the base of the tent and the storage box on top of the tub to hard wire the lights.
Re: lights, going to the extra trouble of of installing 2 way switches has been brilliant. I also got some Velcro sown into the awning so that I could stick a strip of LED lights to it along with a strip at the top of the tent to light up the down stairs and a strip above the pillows for reading etc. All these lights stay velcro'd when we pack up cause they are flexible and fold with the canvass. When the kids need to go to the loo a flick of switches under our pillows and the campsite is fully lit.......kinda cool
The LED strip lights in a pocket with Velcro on one side and clear plastic on the other were no cheap but given the lack of time they have been an awesome accessory.
The charger has been working a treat and you can see the load when the fridge kicks in and the going on/off.
The only pain we have is that we have to pack up the trailer when we want to go MTBing.
Outstanding jobs
1. Rewire lights to get rid of trailer plugs
2. Install 2nd aux battery
3. Make up a PVC pole tube
4. Install compressor
5. Install water tank and pump
Might have to think about getting new axle with some elecy brakes.
Update time
Just installed the water tank that was in the defender along with the pump.......only to discover it has a leak. I'm not keen on pulling it out to get it re-welded so hopefully i be able to apply something insitu. It on the top weld so I doubt I will loose the whole tank be any leaks are annoying.
I have the option of hand pump to the kitchen or 12v pump if I need pressure or want to fill a bucket quickly.

Another tick in the box......second aux battery installed and charging nicely with the other one from the onboard charger.
Must start on the cover plate for the fuel filler hole in the floor of the tub......the compressor will be mounted on this plate
Is that the new water tank?
