If you have bought a RRC fault code reader like I have from a US wreckers, here is a good set of instructions for fitting it.

It is from Steve Heath Engineering shengltd.com

Australian spec cars ( well 92 RRCs for sure)do not have the correct connectors. You have to connect them to the 40 pin plug. The connectors in the 40 pin plug are injector terminals and go in from the front.
I only connected the signal wires and have a separate 12v and earth wires which I run to a cigarette lighter plug.
This is mainly because I have lots of extra wires in the 40 pin plug from the o2 sensors and it is getting crowded in there, especially as I have used shielded cable from the sensors.

    Hi PhilipA,

Say, have you ever come across anywhere to buy the ecu plugs, male and female to suit the 14cux? I am building a megasquirt and want to make an adaptor to plug into the loom. I have searched google and can find the brand and part number but no supplier. 40-pin Amphenol connector (part number 143-70011).

    Richard.

The sockets are the same as the sockets in injector plugs, ie the ones on top (side?) of injectors.
    I bought some on ebay.
EV6 Female USCAR Fuel Injector Electrical Connector Components No Soldering | eBay
These are the complete socket but include the socket.
Get in there and search maybe the US ebay and UK as well as Oz, but I got mine in Oz. try a few different terms.
    Regards Philip A
