TD5 increase boost, what am I doing wrong!!

I backed the lock nut off about 1/4", wound the arm back up, got 18.5 PSI boost and the affect of over boost when jamming the foot down from idle, cut out go again cut out. However if I went to WOT less aggressively I had no problem.
I have since set it back to standard but will reset it when I have a couple of bugs ironed out.

How far did you wind the arm?
Best to do it in 1/2 or 1/4 turns...
That way, you know when you've gone too far and can go back that 1/4 or 1/2 turn.
