I got a billet adaptor made and a spud shaft. I also think the 5.0L cummins might be ideal conversion if it is more compact than a Duramax motor. Cheers Gaz

    Adaptor

No pics as too rushed when I installed it. I can't even take a photo now as 4 inch exhaust hides it

    Rebuild underway

Havent posted on here for yonks. I thought i should update where i have got to with the ute. Pulled the ute off the road in January so i could finish my fabrication work and rebuild form the ground up. Anyway here is some photos.

Made new bull bar and side rails. Have yet to get powder coated etc.

    Underbonnet plumbing. New aircleaner etc

New sheet metal dash. Wanted decent A/C and no room under the bonnet. Lucky i have the extra cab for depth of dash to house A/C. I also wanted to run the chevy instrument cluster.

    Cheers

    And more updates

Got the chassis sandblasted and galvanised last week. Sandblasted front/rear diffs and slapped couple of tins of paint on them. Have a rolling chassis and starting to put it back together at long last.

    Cheers
