When you say "extend" the doors, you mean make them wider? 250mm wider door on a Landy with a fresh coast of paint could maybe land you a cameo on Pimp My Ride.
Have definitely considered that after you suggested it a while back.
I can see how it would work well for say a 100mm extension, but still not convinced about it for a longer one (eg 200-250mm). Since I want some extra space inside the cab for storage (not just for legroom) I'd probably have to do a door extension AND the back panel extension....

Gullwing doors
Longer.... yes I think that's what I mean. Too many dimensions to keep track of.
Pfffft - doors are for wimps. Why not just cut most of the cab away, make an outline of the profile you want in tubing and clad it in removeable canvas panels, a la Mini Moke style?
Well, I did say to expect progress to be slow.
I didn't expect it would be 5 1/2 years before I made a proper start on it
Other than accumulating bits and pieces for it, in that time I've moved it to 2 different properties, and also moved around our current place a dozen times.
Its about to get a good pressure wash in preparation for coming into the shed for stripdown.
Couple of things that have arrived recently for the project:
Firestone air springs for the rear
Steel tray that will get modified to suit. Cheaper and less work that building one from scratch.

Had a chance to hit the engine bay with degreaser and pressure washer last weekend, and got the tray off today
Plan is to hit the chassis with the pressure washer in the morning then let it dry out a bit before it goes in the shed in the afternoon.

Life keeps interfering in my projects, but slowly moving forward.
Partially stripped the cab and knocked up a rough stand so I can move the engine around easily.
