    Perentie Door Lock Installaton

I thought I would post up a quick tutorial in case anyone thinks this is a difficult job. Its dead easy. Posting this tutorial will take twice as long

First, buy a set of 3 barrels& matching keys I got mine from British Off Road in Montrose here in Vic because I can collect - for $29.00 but there are plenty on Ebay.

First. remove the rubber lock Grommet with a flat screwdriver.

Then bend back the internal door locking tab with the same screwdriver.

This will reveal a small Phillips head screw. Remove this.

Then use the screwdriver to centralise the tab so it moves freely

It will then slide up to lock the door internally.

Then simply insert the lock mechanism which will self lock in place

The ignition barrel was covered by Spudboy earlier but to save searching --

Get a right angle thingamajig or maybe a small alen key will do & depress a hidden lug ( as per picture) & wiggle out the blank & insert the keyed barrel with the lug upwards. It will also self locate.

    Job done
