    Brilliant tutorial - thank you.

One question that everyone is probably wondering - what's the cost of the new panels?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Ordered in from the UK. Prices reasonable, but shipping added 70GBP!
YRM Metal Solutions - Love it, YRM it

For 100 rivets, two side panels and the battery box I paid
what was then around $350AUD delivered to the door (UPS).

Great if you could specify / link all the SPECIFIC panels that you ordered to do the jobs you did, that would be great.

(Interestingly I note the battery box in the Defender 130 listing has that step in it.... odd)

The site has some ugly URLs that are bound to break. Navigate to the Seatbox section under Defender or Series 2 & 3

    1 x O/S Seat box End
    1 x N/S Seat box End
    1 x N/S Battery Box
    50 x A Type Rivets
    50 x B Type Rivets

There are some other repair bits available if your seatbox is completely beat.

Battery box has to have a step in it to clear the chassis rail. It's better than the factory box I had in mine which had a step on one side and a diagonal rise on the other. The YRM box fits a N70 perfectly, low down on the flat with the stepped section free to route your wiring, stick in your relays/extras etc.

    Plenty of room:

Thanks mate for those details. I'll clean up these last posts on the thread a bit to keep all the info together.

I was wondering if two batteries would fit comfortably - seems they do. Cheers.
