    Thanks mate, they look good.

Do you mind me asking what they ended up costing you to build?

Do you think it could be done with glass easily enough..

Dylan Perspex may be a better option (lighter and prob more secure).
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Thanks, all up for the 2 with x4 gas struts under $300
Not sure what it would be for glass, cost wise, but still cheeper to do the 2 in glass than what they want to charge you for 1 kit

Just a lil info on how i done it....

Used the original frame from the window, Drilled out the rivets and removed glass by the x4 lil screws on the sides of the frame (2 each side just over half way down) when removed just pull on the two half and they come apart.
Had some 4mm alloy plate waterjet cut to fit in the opening. (also had them cutout locks)
Wanted it to fit inside the frame because using the cutouts on the original frame for drainage and to get a good seal.
Its easyer to take the frame with you as they arnt quite square.
Let the cutters do the hard bit...
Putting back together was the fiddly bit, for the hinges i just drilled over size holes so had some adjustment.
Need some rubber seal around the inner lip (where the glass used to slide passed each other) for wind/rain and still be able to use the cutouts for drainage.
Still not done yet but need gas struts to finish off....Doors are around 4kgs each so the struts dont have to be too strong.

Hey mate, I know this is an old thread, but wondering how you got on with the seal for the windows? I'm looking to do something similar but can't find a suitable seal; hoping you had some luck.
