Some more work done, I spent most of last Saturday working on it and took it for a run to Orange and back on Sunday. Didn't move or misbehave at all.
Long range fuel tank sorted - 200 litres for about $900.00. Transfer is a matter of putting the nozzle in the tank and turning the pump on.

Another couple of shots taken this afternoon whist doing some wiring. I'm putting the battery in the pod and running a charge wire from the Trakside box. I'm too stubborn to pay $250 for a battery tray that requires me to find somewhere else to put the jack and tools.....

More work on the weekend, I lifted the tray and refitted the water tank that came with it. While I was there I put insertion rubber between the chassis and tray and fitted some new mounts. Details here http://www.aulro.com/afvb/90-110-130...ml#post2551982

The pod went pretty well, one of the days that we driving through rain I found that there is a small leak somewhere at the front that needs a bit of silicone, potentially where there is not a continuous bead of Sikaflex. I also discovered that although I have fixed the leaks at the front of the doors with a double set of seals there is still a small amount of water sucked in around the single seals at the rear so I'll need to put double seals on the rear of the doors as well.
Next on the agenda is probably a set of aluminium drawers for the drivers side for more accessable storage.

I built the stand today for the pod to rest on.
