Yeah, hurry up 🤣🤣🤣
Quick update.....
Well we bought a property at Booral, on 5 acres. Took us a while to find the right place with enough land but not too far out.
We have just finished laying down the slab for the shed. Decided to go slightly bigger with this one - 30m x 12m. Slabs finished now just waiting for the kit to arrive.
The finishline is probably 4-5 weeks away so not long until we get back onto finishing The Camel.
Looking forward to the next exciting chapter....
The wait is killing us all I rekon. Can’t wait [emoji1303][emoji3]
Pics of the slab, kit gets delivered today....
Huge!
looking at the thickness - it looks more than 100mm. I'm guessing over 45m3 of concrete in there? That's a lot of wheel barrow loads [thumbsupbig]
Love a good shed build - pics all the way if you please!
[biggrin]
Hi Tricky
How's the shed build? Any more photos or any progress on Camel?
Cbeers - Simon
Hi Guys,
Well the shed is done - almost....
All the building works are completed and all the electrical has been done.
We have elected however to get 3-phase power onto the property to power the multitude of buildings we have (House, big shed, wife's studio and soon the granny flat).
So, we applied to Ergon to have the supply changed over - the wait, you guessed it - 6 months!!!!
Supply won't be put onto the shed until April/May 2020!
I have jerry-rigged the lights in there though to operate from an extension lead temporarily.
I chose LED high-bay fittings - 150w - and they are bloody awesome!!
Here they are in the main part of the shed:

And in the garaport at the end:

So, Plugger has just turned 18 and is looking to join the Navy. His intake will most likely be around June or July fingers crossed.
I am hoping to have the Camel completed by then so it will be mum and dad's gift to him for making Navy selection.
Keep you posted....
Regards,
Tricky
P.S. Still fitting out the wife's studio, and then there are the mezzanine floors to the big shed......lot's to do!!
