Not much progress at the moment so I'll go back a few steps.
I got rid of the county air con as any one who has experienced the power of it will Agree it's just crap.
I am on the lookout for a tdi or td5 series heater box.
So the dash went out and with some 5 mm ally I made this

At the moment I'm keeping it simple, less is more and more reliable.
I've been removing and tidying up as much of the wiring as I can.

The ecu lives up behind the dash in front of the passenger, if I have water up that high the ecu won't be my only issue.

I've had a break for the last couple of weeks as life and Christmas took hold.
    Back into it today.
I want to remove the slope in the cab back so I can fit the main hoop of cage in.
So I drilled out the spot welds, removed the corner pieces , removed the stiffener and massaged the panel flat.

I am really liking the gal capping and think I might continue the theme, make it still identifiable as a county.
