    I have bought Walkers Rangie Ute

    4.6 ZF 4.1s twin locked

    Will be modifying it to suit my needs.

    How does something like that get onto Historic/Club rego - certainly would not pass the authenticity/un modified status required in most other States.

    SA has ditched the factory stock requirement for historic rego as of 1 July 2017, any road legal vehicle over 30 years old at 1 Jan of any year is eligible for that year. No idea what the Vics have done.

    Vic seems to be a bit easier towards modded historic rego

    Ok - it seems that the ACT and I think NSW are behind the times as our Club registrar has to sign off that the vehicle is correct for its period and that any mods are made for safety reasons such seat belts or have period correct modifications likely to have been available at the time.
