Post Defender 110 - Nuts and Bolts Restoration

    Hi All,

We (Alex and Lewis) are currently stripping our Defender 110 TD5 back to the chassis for a full nuts and bolts restoration. We are based in the UK and this is our first restoration project we have chosen to film and document! We wanted to say hi and get involved with all you Land Rover veterans out there on the other side of the world! We also know full well that no other country on the planet knows how to build a bullet proof overland/off road vehicle the way our Australian friends do.

We also hope we can help here as we know a fair bit about Land Rovers, Defenders especially.

Our Defender is currently stripped down to the chassis, with the engine removed and we will be cleaning it off for a full inspection in the coming days. I have been trying to upload some images of our build in a new joiner forum, but not having much success from my mobile. I will have another crack when I am nearer a computer.

If you want to follow the action, please do check our either our Instagram page, BUST2BUILT | Cars | B2B (@bust2built) • Instagram photos and videos or our YouTube channel which can be found here YouTube.

All the very best to you and a Happy New Year and hope everyone is staying safe, our thoughts are with you all.

Arrow Build update - Bulkhead off and engine and gearbox out

    Hi everyone,

A bit of a build update for you all. Please check out our new video where we remove the bulkhead and the engine, gearbox & transfer case. Appreciate our filming leaves a lot to be desired but there may be some helpful tips in here for anyone undertaking a similar job.

More than happy to answer questions on anything that may have been missed, please do ask away!
