Having obtained a hi-lift jack, I was faced with a problem of where to store it.
I know it needs more work ( I need to waterproof it) and I know it's not the best for off road work ( I suppose that I can bolt it to the front of the bull bar for off road sessions), but for around town and impromptu off road stuff, I've bolted it to the drivers side body mount outriggers. It is quite a neat fit, and the base plate uses an existing hole to bolt it to the chassis.
ps: For those who read about this jack in 'A wonderful Evilbay moment', I dropped by a engineering workshop and had them unbend the main shaft with a 20 ton press. Magic.
