Im sorry to rain on your hubbatracks, but the best thing ive found for sand recovery is the matting the roading contractors use under the highway when they lay the seal, you know the gray matting thats in a 5 metre long roll you see on the side of the road before they put down the base rock? a quick stop near some road works late at night to cut off a few metres and it folds up real small to store in the back of the truck too.
I wonder if acquiring an old MT tyre and cutting it up untill you get a panel of tread and bolting it to the track would work. Would start to get a bit heavy though. Just got get some MaxTrax :P I did... I much prefer the orange colour:P
mate as i said they have plenty of grip as in post 11 :D
maxtrax ? there a top piece of gear, but $250 is what l saved on essentially the same thing, so I'm happy :D
we tested them again yesterday and they work brill :D
next time i use / test them i will take a vid!
cheers
