    Well there you go!

Regardless, it was frozen solid! I did think it odd that it had a fill plug on the top and a level plug, but obviously not odd enough for me to check the manual...

Anyway - let me know when you want me to come and fix Gus's wiring up for you, ok?

    LOL!

    We'll see how we go!

Nope... it won't be ready in time, and I can't afford to go anyway.

Gus is on the back burner for now. Ambrose and the Rangie both need some love, and I have a lot on my plate.

I will get back into it! But not right now. A few months.

Keeping with the stovetop theme, Gus is now off the back burner, and has been washed up and put back in the cupboard.

This is for a few reasons:

The recent aquisition of the Defender has meant that while I have a reliable, modern daily driver with less than 350,000kms for the first time in my life, I also have no money.

The other reason is that I rushed the job trying to meet a stupid deadline, and am now not happy with a few things.

So back to the pig shed he goes. It's not for ever - just until funds and time recover, and Ambrose is back to a standard I am happy with (he has been a bit neglected of late and only just made it to Corowa last year). Gotta do these things one at a time an the Ambo is top of that queue.

On the plus side, at least I will have a double garage to do things in, and I can bring my registered Wksp Trailer down and use it.

I'll probably pull him back to chassis and redo everything properly. I'm still tossing up wether I have gone the wrong way with this build.... (I am starting to think I should have restored him back to 2L spec... )

    Sigh...

I guess it's just a case of reality. Poor Gus.

At this rate I'm going to be driving my SIII out to do Gus' rewire!
