Basic Jack Mount on ARB rack

Just thought I would show you guys where I put the high lift jack mounts on the Disco.

Those Kaymar ones attach to the upper part of the roof rack, which I think is too high. The brackets for an ARB on a Disco are quite long, so I wanted them to be as low down as possible.

I had two Rhino jack mounts, so I just drilled the side, and put a big fat high tensile 12mm bolt with a nylock I had lying about as low on the mount as possible.

    Like This.

Then used shorter bolts (they were the originals fromo the Rhino rack) to hold the jack on.

    Shorter bolts.

    And finished product!

Action Shot of it on North Straddie mayday long weekend.

Next I'll get a job at orange County choppers as their star fabricator!

Thanks for being a part of the dream

    Ian.

It's two bolts mate.... as in, a bolt at the front, and a bolt at the back, as in 2. What's hard about that?
