Not sure if this is where you do things like this but I was considering a group buy of these motors if anyone is interested. If I can get more than 5 we should be able to get some form of discount though I'm not sure how much of that would be eaten up by postage. I just thought I'd see if there was any interest and work out if it's worth it. They retail for about $113 and i think we might be able to get at least 10% off, possibly even more. If we can buy more than 10 we could get an even greater discount. Send me a pm if you are interested.

Almost a year later and I have finally gathered all the bits and pieces. However I think it is too late for my Easter trip. I might just take all the components with me and have a go putting it together over the weekend. I ended up getting the ACTDG240 motor from Melbourne Satellites. I ordered the other one but it seems they sent the newer version. On checking the quote they did quote the newer version. I just didn't check properly.
The way I understand it, there shouldn't be a problem as the solar tracker just controls the motor and by passes all the other circuitry inside the motor. I guess we'll see.
I also got a neat little tripod from Melbourne satellites that is designed for mounting satellite dishes when touring the country in your caravan.
I'll post some pics as I get them.

Josh, just make sure that the limit switches in the motor are included in your wiring, otherwise the motor will burn out, or the panel will just spin around in circles.
