    Tail light cleanup.

    Hi folks.

Thought some of you may be interested in the results of cleaning frosted tail lights with the recommended gear.

Made a huge difference and the original tail lights have gone from needing to be replaced for roadworthy actually being approved for roadworthy.

This saves time and money replacing them, not to mention the improved visibility. Well worth the 20 minutes it took to clean.

(P.S. I also upped the parker globe from 5w to 10w)

    What's the recommended gear?

I usually use 1200 then T cut on my Dad's Falcons headlights.

    Maguires PlastX actually.

I usually use your method but decided to try this on the tail lights so as not to damage the writing on the lenses.

Works fine, but on headlights I think I would still use a fine grit paper first.
