Yes its coming along nicely 2_door...
Sorry to hear you all sick, but thats how it goes! Mind you, get it now, over and done with ready for the good weather :)
I got the brakets made up from an engineering shop out of 10mm plate. Not a bad job, paid $120 for the pair.
So pictures tell the story of what I did today:

So overall happy with it, paint is the usual KillRust brand that I have used many a times in the past.
Will be putting another coat on and then pop it on the Disco, and finish the spotlight install :) :)
Then she's all done!!
Looking excellent, will it be on today or tomorrow?
JC
Ill put it on next weekend to give me another chance to recoat. Re-coat times are 16 hours apart :(
Finally finished the bar, although I did stuff it up on the paint job as I can see lots of smeared paint... but thats what happens when you got no room!! :(
So here is the final pics, with spotties on but not wired in... will do over weekend :)

are those larger holes to be used as recovery points
Yep they are the recovery points to replace the existing ones I have. It wont be an issue with 10mm plate!
Nice work there:cool:
Can't beleive they charged you 120 for them thought:(
When I get there I will hopefully get done there and have a look for myself:D
So if any of you tassie blokes needs some plates cut let me know and I will see what I can do:angel:
Adam
Thanks for the offer Adam. Yeah it was a bit more than I thought, and JustinC had offered to cut some for me, but the bloke is waaaaaay to busy running a business so I thought ill just leave him alone :D
