Thread: Worm drive/winch

I was thinking of making a boat loader similar to the side loaders by Rhino except fabricated from steel.

I have been searching for a worm drive but haven't had much luck. Do they go by another name. Anyone know of some good sites that sell them? Do you know what gearing they run? Specs are a little hard to find
