Thanks for the pics, now I have to get the grinder out and start work!, may be a Christmas project!
While at the Expo today I met RRturboD so it was great meeting him , as requested I've posted up some piccys of the rear ARB Bar modified to suite a Body Lift , BTW this was not Modified by me , the owner previously done this. but he knows exactly what's been done , also Nice 300tdi conversion on his Rangie .

I've seen some body lifted Range Rovers without the ARB Rear bar lifted to suit the Lift , just doesn't look right.
that reminds me ,I've gotta do something about the swing away tyre carrier that holds the Guiness book of records for the longest swing away carrier![]()
another thing to add to the list of "to do" things
Looking with interestI have two to do here
I must say the rear bar on disco owners Rangie looks good in flesh

Now that I sort of know how the ARB Rear Bar is modded , when I come up next , I'll get Busy with the Angle Grinder and modify your rear Bar. that's if we ever see the Rangie project Blown 89 get on the way.

yep,it will flex for sure, you've seen how long the swaing away arm is...the idea was so that a Jerry can holder will be welded to the LHS of the arm , I personally would have had the tyre as closest as possible to Pivoting point without blocking the rear lights ofcourse.
PatienceDon't worry I want to see it as well
I just cant help it at the moment
Drought has hit hard here again
We are looking at putting the disco back on the road so we have two rides wile the Rangie gets a little refurb. Just got to make sure I can get it blue slipped 1st. The SRS light staying on is a worry.

That is a very senseable idea , at least you will have 2 vehicles to fall back on while the rangie is off line for refurbiushment.will the wife still be using the Mitsu or Disco for pulling the horse float ?
Bruce Davis Turbo Mod and Pump Mod will get that Disco really going , you won;t have any problems pulling that Horse Float with the Disco then.
BTW , The supercharger is ready to get Bolted up shortly , pics and full report to follow.![]()
