Rather annoying and my local mechanic can't fix it. Have replaced the ignition amp, the coil and the pick up in the distributor. Any ideas very gratefully received, I'm no expert so please idiot proof your replies

I'd be looking at the ignition switch .............................. and double checking the fuses
