Range Rover Sport TDV6 brake recall info
I was hoping somebody will be able to help me.
I recently purchased a 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 after having hit a king size roo in my Disco (which wrote it off).
Happy with the buy but having issues with the brakes. Burbling noise behind dash if I have my foot on the brake while stationary, hard brakes after a few pumps etc etc. it seems that this is the symptoms of a recall and I am trying to negotiate with Landrover to look at this.
All of that aside, in the (likely) event that they tell me “bad luck fix it yourself” does anybody know what the fix is?
do I have to replace the whole vacuum pump, booster and master cylinder? If so, is this a job I could do myself. I am very comfortable with a scanner in my hand.
Any comments or advise would be appreciated.
thanks in advance
