    The 3 things I like-

    Cheap to buy and fix
Off-road ability and on-road ride, best of both worlds
That V8 sound. Not a road rocket but they just keep on going if serviced reguarly

They'res many more. Owned 10 Rangies from old 2 doors to late model classics. The 88 Rangie I have now apart from the 5 speed I like it very much and it takes a belting off-road so it seems silly to offload it at the moment.

I have the 89 5-spd i love it and would never go to auto.

I find the rangie excels in the snow. I do a bit of driving in the snow in the season and she goes well. Ive never fitted chains and when your driving up the mountain the body roll is sufficient to make it seem like your boating rather than motoring however i seem to be the only one in the car that enjoys it
