one of my toyota driving mates has upgraded to a td5 d2 and will not stop raving about it, he now is pestering me to swap reg for one. I already know how good they are, my old man has had a 2001 from new, if only someone would fix the roof hump one would be in my driveway already
1. Two peice tail gate, makes packing things easy, can extend the length of the boot, and best of all its a built in picnic table.
2. The fact that it talks the talk but can walk the walk! She goes anywhere.
3. And of course the V8, it makes people walking on the footpath stop and turn around to see what is charging up at them, and it makes young and old men smile when it grumbles past.
I know it was 3 things but I also love the fact its 36 years old but still looks like a modern rangey, and probably can go more places, only thing is its a bit more effort to drive...
1. Air suspension (specially when towing)
2. Driving position (same as RRC and P38..love it!)
3. I own it (not the bank)

94' LSE
1. driving position
2. a bit of cheap luxuary every day, leather everything
3. bells n whistles even though its 17 years old !
* both, Classic design ie: they look soooooooo cool
#1 The tail gate.
#2 Ergonomics, driving position, dash layout/switches etc.
#3 All the spanner time you get on them.
Good question, it made me stop and think for a moment what I like most about the wagon...
1 - It's character (even though the voice recognition never gets my Aussie accent);
2 - The armchair driving position; and
3 - The adjustable ride height (the 5'4" wife's inclusion)..
