Well i am unfortunetly missing out i have an 84 rangy but due to laws on motor restrictions i had to get a 300TDi Disco which i love but i hope one day to pick up a smick Rangy with a diesel donk.

I love the timeless appearance of the 84

These are 3 major improvements from my old 2 door rangie

    Air conditioning
    Automatic
    EFI

All my registered cars have had coils all round, 4 wheel disc brakes, good seats with plenty of room (well maybe not the back of the alfas - but I don't sit there) and they've all been cheap enough that I've owned them not the bank

It's kind of odd that nobody's noted the "unparalleled off-road ability."...

If I may, in my 2A, I like the:
    1. Armstrong power steering ("heave!"),
    2. 2/55 aircon (2 windows open/55mph),
    3. ICE surround sound ("What's that noise and where's it coming from?")

I've only ever driven V8 Rangies off road so have nothing in my experience to compare them to and have no intention at this stage to change, and while we have the best why would you change
