Who has a PTO winch fitted to their defender??

There was (still is?) a company called Flexible Drive Agencies, they make push/pull cables for such applications. They were in Alice Street Newtown, not sure now. But they can make a custom cable, lockable even, for these. I had one made for the PTO on my series.

I did a quick google with the terms 'pto drive actuator' and for $19.95USD can get just what I would like...but not sure if it'll work as i don't think my PTO drive has a spring return, unlike the RFSV I was crawling under at Minto last weekend...

you could place a spring on it...........although it would be exposed to the elements

With a spring return wouldn't you need the lever or cable to be locking though?
