Why is it the defender drivers fault the truck was stationary?
The idiot it the Subaru was out of the bog and yet kept on going until he impacted with the defender instead of stopping, The defender incidentally didn't even get scratched yet the Subaru driver totalled his rear end

Yeah, and why wasn't the Suby driver looking in his mirrors anyway?

Pretty sure that clip has been around for few years now.
The Defender stopped because it stalled after the snatch, which the Suby driver would not have been expecting.
Anyway entertainment for the spectator and keyboard viewers alike.

I wonder if a D5 would survive an impact like that without a scratch, I know for certain that my D2a without the steel rear bar on it wouldn't.

I had a Pajero hit the rear of my d2 when it was quite new. Plastic bar good...but quite new at time do not sun damaged. Paj leaking fluids. My spare tyre bracket was bent slightly... happy with steel bar now though. Cheers

Sure it stalled? Or did it break down as they seem to do with stunning regularitySnatch strap rules - defender driver should know better Snatch strap rules - defender driver should know better Snatch strap rules - defender driver should know better Snatch strap rules - defender driver should know better Snatch strap rules - defender driver should know better

    Cruel!

Mine only failed to proceed once that I recall through the spade terminal on the IP solenoid being corroded.

It had some major, major 'issues' at times but otherwise never actually stopped.
