I have an as yet "un-disproved" theory,
If you go on a trip and nothing breaks, you don't get stuck, don't get bad weather or some other problem, the trip ends up going in the "nothing memorable" column.
That's only my theory though.
And fortunately for us, we've never had "nothing memorable" trip to date.
