I think they were designed for bomb disposal teams to cross boggy ground, locate and destroy. There is a modern version out too for snowy areas.

I cant make out the plate...european or african?

i say african as the background looks sort of african... so somewhere on african continent is my guess but really no idea...(now youll say it is dubbo zoo or something!!)

(I like the top though looks good)

In the 1980's when Range Rover sponsored Skiing at Guthega JRA had a 4 door RRc out here fitted with a similar design.

That sign is a classic, could easily be applied to the roads on the Mid North Coast, especially Taree.
Series one is makes the scene authentic, not sure about the trailer though, needs to look older and less new.

The snowy rescue services have a landcruiser with the tracks up at Charlottes Pass at the moment. Was being used this week in a search this week.
