S1 wagon in need of work
Love the LWB series1 station wagons wish I bloody didn't sell the one I had, would give my left arm for one. Great find by the way keep us up dated on its progress.
I just caught up with a mate in Chiddingfold and went for a spin in wagon #7 to a local gun shop where we found a lovely 51 in the car park.

Mine never had straight guards (fenders) and I like the attitude that Ant took when he restored the Series 1 on "For the love of Cars" he said that they were never truly straight even from the factory and that the imperfections were a part of the character of the vehicle :)Quote:
