Hopefully this is some help...
(opps!! sorry too big to download!)
PM me your email address and I'll send you the operation manual (1950) on a PDF file. and whatever else I can find for your vehicle. Mine is a copy via an o/s website, but I believe better copies etc though are avaiable on the RAVECD in daves shop.
Cheers

Hi Digger,
I have the Land Rover Operartions Manual (1950) but no mention of the starting handle, although it does show location of the wheel brace handle (N).
Numpty, Thanks for the advise on location of the starting handle, will check out Lionel on our next visit. I guess it must be behind the spare wheel. The 13th National Historical Machinery Rally is coming up this coming weekend in Pinjarra so hopefully will check some series one's out. Wish I had known about this earlier.
Cheers Nigel

Thankyou B.S.F. Nut,
I have the holes but non of the clips. But at least I now know where it all fits. Thanks for your assistance.
Hi All
Sorry to be a pain, but on some of the very first 80"'s the crank handle was clipped inside the engine bay along the side of the inside panel of the mudgard.
Cheers Arthur

Here is our "new" 1954 86".
It appears to have the original engine, gearbox, axles, wheels, brakes and steering wheel.
It needs a carb, exhaust, rad. Plus everything else probably since it is a non runner right now, and no idea how long it has been since it did run.
It is a long term dad and boys project.
Cheers
Ray
