I thought i'd never see the photos!!

congrats -- have you got most of the accessories to kit the new one out?

***for those who don't know --Ellards professional and passionate approach towards his landies (especially the fire varieties) was the reason he got this one... people are now willing to pass their loved vehicles on to him (obviously for a price!) knowing he will protect/rejuvenate & preserve them. well done wayne!***

    Hi there

They are different in many ways - It was quite difficult in restoring the first one as I had to go on people verbal discussion. All my information came from a retired Fire Officer as Woomera was a defence town in the early days and photography was very taboooooo.

For example there is no visual record the second having had a governor but the first did - I honestly believe one was set up for urban work (lots of stowage) and the other for grass fires (minimal stowage - but more water capacity)......to my knowledge (not alot of innformation).

Its been very embarasing but since purchasing it I have only driven it into the shed and parked.......been there ever since.

To be honest I really dont want to restore, as in my opinion you can over restore them, it looks better the was it is - but I will get it operations (so it can pump water)

    Thanks for the interest.
