The chassis on the '58 is probably knackered as well but chassis and bulkheads can be repaired.

Chazza... Mm.. they're not mine, just saw them in a paddock near me.
I do know who owns them but haven't spoken to him. (yet)
What I do know is that if I brought that home the other half
would kill me. "Another piece of junk lying around that you're never

If the grille badge is the original as fitted when new I would think it is unlikely to be a 1958 Series 2.
The badge appears to have the "Rover Australia Pty Ltd" manufacturing source label running along the bottom, whereas I think a 1958 would more likely have "Birmingham England" on the badge - I believe the "Solihull Warwickshire" label came later with the later Series 2As.
Of course, the badge might not be original..............
