why is the title of this thread
"Where to Look in Perth for a series 1 "???

So far you've popped over to GOC (Gods Own Country) to pinch one
(a nice one by the looks!) and started planning to rip another one off!!??
(It is a waste but also if you read the plaque with it , praises them for opening the country up...)

Methinks may have to close that border again!!!

    Keep showing us the photos!

    cheers

How do you keep a series 1 collector in suspense

    I will tell you tomorrow!!!!!!

While having a few vino calapsoe's yesterday we have come up with a name for our new S1. We went from safari to daktari to Elsa my wife loved Born Free. So Elsa it is a bit of an African flavour but there were lots over there.

    The Border

The border is manned by West Australians and they didn't want us bringing any SA dirt across the border. In fact they pulled out the gurnie and made me wash a bit more off that I had missed. They worried about die back although I thought that was in WA not SA. Funny thing is the dirt washed off on tye WA side of the border and would be picked up by the tyres of vehicles heading further into WA.

    New house big workshop

To coincide with the acquiring of one of South Australias most treasured assets (my 56.... 88 inch) I have found a new abode complete with swimming pool to make the wife happy and huge shed for yours truly with 3 phase power if requried . The perfect place to host a gathering of landrover series 1 & Defender nutters. As soon as we have moved in and settled into the rythem of life in a new suburb an event worth your attendance will be advertised.

Congrats, but I know you are only moving to try and dodge the SA mob reclaiming our heritage!!

Enjoy and I hope the house (and shed and pool!) are a source and place of great happiness and prosperity!
