Good work Mike,
I would have bought it over for you too, pretty sure I done my best not to lose it in transit somewhere
I just picked up a Fairey Overdrive on Ebay . I intend to add an oil cooler and resivoir with electric oil pump. This should kp it cool and get away from checking the oil level every day.
I never won an auction before i am quite chuffed!!

Well I had quite a bit of leakage going on around the sump gasket and oil dip stick base. Since i have tightend every thing up its a lot less. I was going through around 1/1.5 litre per tank of fuel on the way over. I changed the oil twice. By the time i crossed the Nullabor the sludge had been flushed out and rings loosned up and consumption went down . I run Penrite 20W 60 and change it every 2000ks .

Thanks for that.... Using same oil in mine and loosing a litre per tank I recon .... But running in still... And there's a little seepage , I'd recon. 300 mm a tank ( rear main oilseal)
That's acceptable for the odrive ( to me lol) hopefully it works well or is cheep to fix up lol
You will have to post up the instal( overhaul if needed) I recon one would be worth wild on the hwys
