There is a lot to see on the way over here Landrover wise, there is a little town in SA quite famous for its Series 1's probably more there in one town than anywhere else in Australia. I should introduce you to everyone here as you never know when you may need a local to help out on the way across.
Mike:)
I am going to do the same with a pump on mine Mike - if you take the valves out of the SU, it can pump through it without ruining the look of it.
From what I hear of the Fairey, it needs more oil than it can currently take - what about making an auxiliary oil tank for it, or a bigger sump?
Cheers Charlie
Yes Charlie I am looking at adding an external reservoir & oil cooler for the O/D and putting in an a electrical oil scavenge pump with a switch on the gear stick to circulate the oil. With the SU you can pump through it when required so only need to use the booster on hot days or if the SU dies.

Just picked up Borumbah from the canvas man. New canopy looks good but it has to shrink a little yet.

Not sure what's coming up but the CSR trip is the one looking forward to. Just waiting for my parabolic springs to arrive and O/D parts from Craddocks and it will be finished.
Mike
What brand of parabolic springs are you getting?
Iam also thinking of getting a set for my 88" series 1!
I'm getting Rocky Mountain mainly because there is a container coming in January you better get in quick and order them, as of last week the container was filling up quick. I'm getting a spin on filter adapter as well.
