    Gus stayed with us two nights ago and allowed me the joy of listening to and touching a running S1.

    What a nice chap! It was incredible how many things we have in common!

    Last seen heading north to Baker's Hill.

    After much procrastination I have updated the blog.

    Also, planning a trip to Steep point and north. Gibb River rd, tanami, maybe more back across.

    That's the blog address above.. Not sure if it works as a link. Good work so far on the blog. Just had a look. What's the go with that Miniature Series 1 in Tazzy??? The engine is scale too?? what's that out of I wonder?

    Make sure you have a good working tyre pump, some of the patches you are going to travel through are loose sand.

    It's all 5/8th scale and actually sounds like a series one as well.

    He is a turner and fitter by trade, it is a 5/8th scale 1.6l so 1l motor. As arthur said, it sounds just like the real thing. I have a vid on my FB page
