Its an ongoing dilemma for me, do I build a great big you beaut shed , or buy a few more Landy's?

I am unsure how many there are. There are 1 pair that I know with someone's name on them and a second set in a rebuilt front end which goes with the 49 / 50 chassis, which I may rebuild. I won't know the extent of bits for a few weeks.

We went to Mudgee on Sunday morning with 3 double axle car trailers and 1 single axle small car trailers. I had checked out the parts the week before but wasn't ready for what was actually there.
We started removing parts from the sheds and the owner kept finding boxes of parts which he had forgotten about, many new or re-conditioned items, like the 3 early greased up crankshafts which were in a tub on a shelf!. This went on all day.
This was a real Land Rover spares barn find, with so many parts, let alone the 2 cars and 2 part cars. We managed to fill the 4 trailers and will require at least 2 more trips in the future.
Here is a teaser of the parts we brought back
I love the seat backs. The 2 shafts are horn button assemblies, albeit with slight damage
This is about 1/4 of the panels
Please don't request parts at this stage as we have lots of sorting to do and also have family commitments and holidays on our door step

Most mechanical items were under cover, but outside, this is what the place looked like. This is a small section.
Well that is 1 trailer loaded - a Series2 which has a stuffed firewall anyhow, with 3 additional chassis, looks heavier than they actually are. The chassis don't weigh that much
This was the second trailer loaded, a Series 2 - 2a diesel with a seized engine. This vehicle is almost complete. The rear and inside are crammed full of heavy parts. This was probably the heaviest trailer. (pic taken at our place)
3rd trailer squeeze 2 engine blocks and a PTO up front
Squeeze a few firewalls on the back
Slip a few bonnets underneath and a few on top.
This is what was in the back
Trailer 4 was reserved for panels, a gearbox and all sorts. This wasn't stacked too high as we wanted to preserve these parts, even though many are beyond repair
This was used for marshaling
To date we have emptied trailer 3 as it was needed and the panels off trailer 4
A few more pics

Maybe you should have just bought the property and not have to move anything![]()
Makes my find miniscule by comparison![]()
