You should be able to get a new harmonic balancer from Repco / Supercheap & the likes , I think they were the same on all Holden red blue & black motors, then it is only a matter of putting a block of hard wood against the front face & using a big hammer knocking it on until the pulleys all line up.
If you ever need to get it off to replace the seal ( which you should do now while the pully is off because when the seal leaks it rots the rubber in the harmonic balancer) you will need to jack up the front of the motor & the Holden puller bolts on to the 3 bolt holes & the centre bolt of the puller pushes against the front of the crankshaft. You may need to jack the motor up if you can't hit in the centre of the balancer so it will go on square.
I think Jim was trying to tell you he had a Holden motor there to sell & probably hood bows as well.
