My 1950 "lights through the grille" is missing just that! No lights, I've obtained a grille, and my attention is now directed towards finding a suitable radiator support. My question to those in the know is, what are the differences between the years and what year models have the same support? I've been offered one from a 1954 model, however being new to Series 1 ownership I'm unsure of it's suitability.

sorry there are 3 types of support panels a 54 is for a 86 inch it will fit but not correct you will see in your parts manuel jim
Thanks Jim. Catalogue list the three types of supports with different part numbers. The lights through grille 50-51 appears to be similar to inverted T grille 52-53 but they have different part numbers. So it would appear I need one from a 50-51 model. Sounds challenging!

These are 4 of the 5 kinds of radiator support panels used on Series 1's. From left to right. Lights behind the grille, lights through the grille, Inverted -T and 88/109". There is a 5th kind, but the difference is only visible from above or from behind. I don't have one of those. I'll let someone else put some dates on them. .W.
The Light through panel has got captive nuts to attache the grille. The Inverted T-grille is attached with the nameplate bolts. .W.
