Strictly speaking they are too wide for the original rims, are ex Perentie tyres any good on wet grass ?
Maybe a set of wider rims for the 'farm' tyres.

Sorry, rims AND tyres. I thought the wider rims would be an advantage
Would spacers help with extra tire width and offset on 7.5 perentie tyres?
Better off with your bar treads IMO ,
Wider tyres will have lower ground pressure , you will lose traction easier on a wet grassy slope . Perentie is almost twice the weight of your SWB . 12 -14 ply tyres will be useless on your Series1.
I have these lightly used 6.50-16 STA Super Traxions , 6 ply that I probably wont be needing. One was a the spare & is brand new , others done about 2000km .
TBH the $75.00 Evergreen ES89 I got from Tyroola are better in all conditions including wet grass & mud, (on the car in the bottom picture)

If you can find some AYG8038 wheels these are 5.5" width but offset 0.5" further out than std 5.5" LWB rims. My 700r16 tyres rub on the rib on the side of the rear tub with std offset rims when flexed up.
