    Thanks John.
If in Qld, ask your premier to open the Border, please, so I can go and get it ????
Cant believe the number of Qld registered cars and 4x4's around the Cabarita, Kingcliff area, over the long weekend.
So why is it still closed, I wonder.
She's happy to let you lot head South ????

Have you tried applying online for a Qld Entry Pass?

The border has never been totally closed to non-residents of Qld. There are various exemptions, including trade and commerce, compassionate etc. For example, I know someone from Coffs Harbour who got a pass to visit her sister in Brisbane last weekend because she had just had a baby.

Interstate vehicles are coming over the border every day. You just have to show you comply with the conditions for entry.

Just search Qld Entry Pass and answer the questions. If its approved they email the pass to you, you print it out and stick it on the passenger side of the windscreen.

I don't know if yours will be approved or not, but what have you got to lose by applying? Nothing.

Qld residents are in a different situation. Qld residents don't have to answer the same questions as non-residents. NSW says interstate visitors are welcome. They are probably saving a lot of tourism businesses in northern NSW from going bust.

    Hi Mick.
Thanks. Have a permit, so can cross.
Due to the age of lovely people, who gave me the S1 and will need The help of Ross and his 4x4 tractor to get it out and on to my trailer,
I want to be 100% sure not to pass anything on.
We have been very lucky with Covid in Australia. My parents in the Uk have been locked down for 16 weeks.40,000 recorded deaths, and 10,000+ more not recorded. They have lost more health care workers, than our total for the whole country.
Not going anywhere except Northern NSW.

Mostly, it was a climate based move, so tick that box, but the work down here is a bit thin on the ground, although COVID might have something to do with that. Buying a house is also a bit of a frustrating process, but apart from that all good.

Are you thinking about the same move ?

I have caught up with a couple of local aulro forum members, nice to make those connections.

    Cheers,
    John
