Trying to work out if I can use 88 leaf springs on an 86??????

Restoring an 86” and trying to work out if I can use parts from an 88 or a 109. They seem to be more common here in Perth for wrecking. Would be easier to list the things I don’t need! Engine, chassis, front cross member, interior, gearbox,............................but if it was easy, it wouldn’t be a challenge. Take care stay safe people.

    86/88

As long as you mean 88 or 109 S1 then almost all parts are the same, they only moved the spring mounts on the chassis forward 2" thus only bonnet ,front wings and front prop shaft are the main parts that don't fit, springs, body mechanical parts etc are the same. There are some year differences steering box etc but they fit.

Springs are interchangeable between 86 and 88, and front springs between 86,88,107 and 109 (except diesel/petrol).
